All is ephemeral

This Master of Fine Arts culminating exhibition, All Is Ephemeral, is a meditative exploration of our current state of existence that is unavoidably temporal, and potentially artificial. My imagery represents instances when the fragility of reality is manifested in things constructed to exist beyond our mortality. As our bodies decay, so do those structures of brick, steel, concrete, and glass, which to some degree, have been constructed to perpetuate the human desire for permanence. I edited and selected the most potent and relevant photographs, then, printing them as photo etchings converted them from digital images into tactile and meditative objects.
